Courtesy Reminder Notice
Three days before a book is due, the librarian issues a courtesy reminder notice to inform the patrons that they may return or renew their checked out material. In order to receive these notices, the librarian must have your updated and current contact information. Please note that whether or not you received the courtesy reminder notice, you are still responsible for returning your checked out material by the designated due date and for paying any overdue fees or replacement charges.
Refund Policy for a Lost/Damaged and Paid Library Book
The WESLibrary will refund a library patron for a lost and paid library book that was paid for by cash/check. This price will not reflect the current market value unless it is the same price that was paid for by the library patron when they paid for the lost book. This refund will reflect the price that the library patron paid for the lost book. The library patron will be paid the lost returned book price only. If a patron pays for the lost/damaged book but the book is found and returned within the same school year, the money will be reimbursed.
Library Blocks
Library patrons are blocked from borrowing additional materials if they have overdue materials and/or unpaid lost/damaged books.
They are blocked & will remain until the library material is returned and the fine is paid or the replacement charges are paid.
